Kashish Music unveiled Bewafa Se, a new music video featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kashika Kapoor, produced, composed and written by Abhishek Thakur. Exploring the emotional complexities of love, heartbreak and betrayal, the track brings together the two actors in a story centred on the pain of relationships and the memories that linger long after love takes an unexpected turn. For Neil Nitin Mukesh, the project offered an opportunity to explore the quieter, more vulnerable side of heartbreak, where unspoken emotions can often be more powerful than dramatic confrontations.

Talking about the track, Neil says, “What drew me to Bewafa Se was the emotional honesty of its story. Heartbreak is not always about anger or confrontation; sometimes, it is about the things left unsaid and the memories you cannot escape. I wanted to approach the character with restraint and allow the emotions to unfold naturally. Music has a unique ability to bring back people and moments from our lives, and I hope audiences find that personal connection with this song.”

Kashika Kapoor, meanwhile, sees the emotional conflict at the heart of the track as something audiences can relate to through their own experiences. For her, portraying heartbreak meant going beyond visible sadness to capture the conflicting emotions that accompany a relationship falling apart. Kashika says, “The most difficult part of heartbreak is that your feelings do not simply disappear when a relationship ends. You can be hurt by someone and still cherish the memories you shared with them. That contradiction makes these stories so human. With Bewafa Se, I wanted to portray the vulnerability and emotional conflict in a way that feels honest and relatable, rather than exaggerated.”

With Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kashika Kapoor leading Bewafa Se, producer, lyricist and composer Abhishek Thakur, through Kashish Music, brings a story of love and betrayal to audiences, hoping its emotional themes resonate beyond the screen. Bewafa Se, featuring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Kashika Kapoor, is now available to watch online.
