‘Kumkum’ fame Juhi Parmar reveals the real reason behind her divorce with Sachin Shroff


Silver screen actress Juhi Parmar, who was last seen in mythological television series, Karmaphal Daata Shani for the very first time revealed the real reason behind her failed marriage with actor Sachin Shroff. The actress who recently made a guest appearance on Rajeev Khandelwal’s chat show – JuzzBaatt along with her best friend, Aashka Goradia opened up on what exactly went wrong with the marriage.

During the course of interaction, host Rajeev Khandelwal asked Juhi that at what point she realized that she wanted to quit her marriage. To this, Juhi answered, “I knew Sachin before our marriage but there was no courtship period as such. He expressed his feelings and we got married immediately after that. I was not fully convinced personally but his love was the biggest driving force. I thought that I will fall in love with him but I still don’t know if I can label it as a love marriage.”

She further said, “After few years of our marriage, our relationship hit rock bottom. It was difficult for me to accept that it’s not working out and I was just struggling to keep it going. Finally, I decided that it was best for both of us to separate and Aashka Goradia helped me and stood by my side.”

Juhi Parmar tied the knot with Sachin Shroff in 2009. They became parents to a baby girl Samaira in 2013. The couple had been living separately since 2016, but troubles started after few years of their marriage. Their 8-year-old marriage ended this year officially. Post the divorce, Juhi has taken over the custody of her 5-year-old daughter, Samaira.

“Samaira is staying with me and my parents. I want to do the best for my child. There are a lot of sacrifices and compromises I am going through by staying away from her while shooting but then I know, the result will be best (smiles). Parenting is a tough job and I am putting all my hard work to give the best to my daughter,” Juhi added.
