Non-quintessential pastels to one-of-a-kind silver kaleeras, sartorial details from 'Jodi No 1' Varun Dhawan- Natasha Dalal's fairytale wedding!

On January 24, Varun Dhawan broke many hearts as he married his childhood love, designer Natasha Dalal in an intimate ceremony at Alibaug. Despite being a small scale affair, the ‘VaruSha’ wedding was no less than a fairy tale thanks to the bride and groom’s outfit choices. From colour coordinated wedding trousseau to ditching quintessential Punjabi reds for pastel picks and classy cocktail wear, the wedding rode high on the sartorial extravaganza.

For the Mehendi celebration, Varun opted for a mint kurta and bundi set from label Kunal Rawal. He teamed his outfit with dapper reflectors and a classy watch. Ladylove, Natasha was a sight to behold in her pastel lehenga choli from her label’s collection and teamed her look with statement jewels and minimal glam.

SANGEET SHENANIGANS

For the sangeet, the groom slayed away in a suave tux from BFF Kunal Rawal’s collection. He layered his pleated shirt with a double-breasted waistcoat and added finishing touches to his outfit with a mock layered black jacket and a set of matching black pants. Natasha painted a scintillating picture in a blushed pink embellished lehenga that rode high on motifs and crystals. Dreamy indeed!

WEDDING WOWS!

For the D-Day, VD defined opulence in a bespoke sherwani, exclusively designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra. His white sherwani was adorned with intricate gold and silver zardosi hand-embroidery, layered with a celeste blue drape. A pair of custom encrusted embroidery shoes completed his wedding look. Duhaniya Natasha made for an unconventional bride in her curated heavily embellished ivory lehenga with intricate silver beadwork and embroidery. Elements like sheer sleeves, a tasseled dupatta and a sweetheart neckline added to the drama of her wedding ensemble. In order to match her non-quintessential wedding outfit, she opted for silver bangles and kaleeras. Stunning encrusted jewels along with a minimal glam and a delicate floral hairdo added the finishing touches to her bridal look. Gosh!

THE POWER COUPLE

While returning back to the bay, the power couple made an appearance in their ethnic best. Varun opted for a washed pink kurta shirt that bore deconstructed flowers in mixed thread on the sleeves. Natasha continued her love affair with all things pastels and looked elegant in an embroidered anrakali.

So, what do you think of their wedding looks?
