Diet Sabya accuses Anamika Khanna of 'stealing' a concept; Rhea-Sonam rush to the designer's defense

Diet Sabya strikes again! But looks like this time he's on the wrong side of the argument. While the page, that reports plagiarism incidents in the Indian fashion industry, usually makes for eye-opener posts has possibly wronged a designer on baseless facts.

Here's what happened; Diet Sabya accused Award-winning designer Anamika Khanna of stealing the AK-OK concept, seen on her ensembles, from Anna Wintour's AW-OK concept which was seen on VogueXJordans line of shoes. This is the spark that ignited the fire.

Actress Sonam Kapoor and Stylist Rhea Kapoor, who wore those designs recently, instantly came to the designer's defence.

Stylist Megan Concessio also extended her support to the designer in the comments section of the post. In a series of Instagram comments, the banter ended up in a heated argument about the origin of the concept. Take a look:

While some fans defended the Kapoor sisters while the others extended their support to the Instagram page, take a look:

Sonam even Instagrammed a post directing attention to the actual reason why AK-OK came to life. She captioned it as,"My dear friend had gone through a terrible illness in the last year. Her beautiful twin sons @viraj_khanna and  @thevisheshkhanna banded together and surrounded her gave her comfort and inspiration. The common slang that is used amongst people is A-Ok in America. Viraj and Vishesh who just returned from America after four years in the prestigious University of Southern California, used the same term playfully with their mom when she was down, saying “mom everything is going to be AK-OK” dear Anamika I’m so glad everything is eventually AK-OK im so so fortunate to be your muse and @rheakapoor and I get to collaborate with you. I hope I never take you for granted. Love you so much! I shed a tear when I wore this outfit because I know it was inspired by your boys and they gave you strength during your lowest. ❤️❤️❤️"

While we cannot determine who ideated it first and who used it second, we certainly hope that nobody is wrongly accused in this argument. Well, only time will tell...
