Ankita Lokhande, fresh out of the Bigg Boss 17 house, is on every filmmaker's list. From television to OTT and the big screen, she has marked her presence and left an indelible mark with her talent. Recently, rumours mills were active claiming Ekta Kapoor has offered the 7th edition of her supernatural show, Naagin, to her protege.
However, in an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Ankita denied being approached for Naagin 7. Calling it just a 'rumour', the actress said, "I'm not doing Naagin 7 for sure. I'm not at all Naagin 7. Mujhe approach bhi nahi kiya gaya hai. Agar hota toh baat alag hoti but no, it's just a rumour."
In the past, Ekta selected Tejasswi Prakash for Naagin 6. The actress had participated in Bigg Boss 15 and won the show. On the finale night, Tejasswi was announced as the lead of Naagin 6. Fans were expecting the same with Naagin 7 and hoped Ankita was signed for it. Previously, rumours had it that Bigg Boss 16 second runner-up Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was being considered for the supernatural thriller series.
