The world lost legendary cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi on October 23, 2023. Known for his unmatched contribution towards Indian cricket, his demise left a void that can never be filled. Keeping his legacy alive, Angad Bedi is certainly making his father proud with the incredible work he has been doing in films.
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, Angad discussed plans to make a biopic on Mr. Bedi soon. The actor said he's currently looking for someone who can work on the project passionately. Angad also shared that he's not sure whether he would be the right person to act in the biopic.
Angad said, "I would love to make the film. I don't know if I'll be the right person to act in it but I would definitely would like to test for it. If I'm physically fit to play the role, and the maker feels I'm the correct person, and if I'm able to do justice, then I would definitely love to act. I'm also left to my own will."
He added, "It's such a big personality, such a magnetic person that I don't know whether his story can be told through a film alone or does it needs to be told through a series of episodes. So that call I will have to take. Right now I'm definitely looking for the correct person who can come on board as far as you know a filmmaker who has followed his era and who would genuinely be as passionate to make it as I am to collaborate."
Workwise, Angad made his Telugu debut with Nani and Mrunal Thakur's Hi Nanna which released on December 7, 2023.
