Suparn S Varma's The Trial has premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on July 14. Headlined by Kajol, the web series is a courtroom drama adapted from the American show, The Good Wife. The Trial is co-produced by Ajay Devgn's production house. In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Suparn reacted to Ajay backing the project and whether he desires to direct the power couple in future.
Suparn told, "I have written Ajay Devgn's Qayamat: City Under Threat and Zameen. I am one of his biggest fans. It was an absolute joy to have him as a co-producer on The Trial. I hope to cast him and Kajol one day and bring them together again. They are among the best actors we have and are so good at what they do."
