PeepingMoon Exclusive: Aaliya Siddiqui reveals daughter Shora's reaction to her Bigg Boss OTT 2 participation, says 'yeh decision lena important tha' for her and children's future

Film producer Aaliya Siddiqui is among the participants of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss OTT season 2. She is the estranged wife of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and remained in the headlines for their troubled marriage. In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon before entering the house, Aaliya spoke about why she looks at the reality show as a great platform to grow in her career.

Aaliya said, "I'm entering the show without any expectations. I'm excited because this is a new journey for me which will support my career." She further shared that if good acting opportunities come along the way, she'll be open to doing that. "Agar kaam milega toh 100% karungi. Abhi life to akele guzarna hai. Option nahi hai, independent hona hai. Bigg Boss OTT season 2 mere liye accha platform hai."

When asked whether she fears Salman's grilling and straightforwardness, Aaliya told, "I don't fear Salman Khan's grilling or feedback. That's in fact a good thing. Those who speak the truth are straightforward and that's who I am too."

Aaliya added that she's always been a thick-skinned person and might not find the stay on the show daunting. She shared that since her mind is strong, she was able to come out in the public and speak up about her troubled marriage with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. "Strong toh main hamesha se hi thi tabhi toh main inn sab cheezon se lad payi. Strong na hoti toh kabhi samne na aati," Aaliya told.

Revealing her daughter's reaction to her decision of doing Bigg Boss OTT season 2, Aaliya said, "Shora thoda sa gussa bhi hui thi kyunki usne Bigg Boss dekha hai. Usko laga yahan bohot saari fights hoti hai. All she said was, "Mumma, aapse koi ladayi nahi karega na?", "Koi pitayi nahi hogi na?" Maine usko samjhaya ki har insaan maar-peet nahi karta. Sabke dimag alag hote hai aur yeh toh face karna hi padta hai. Uske baad voh samajh gayi aur abhi excited hai. Ab main sukoon se kaam kar paungi."

Talking about missing her children during the show, Aaliya shared, "Miss karne wala sawal nahi aata. Miss unko karte hai unko aap bhul jate hai. Main na unhe bhulane wali hu na voh mere life se kahi gaye hai. Voh toh har waqt mere saath hai. Apne career ke liye, aage badhne ke liye emotional sacrifices karne padte hai. Mentally strong hoke karna padta hai. Ab main aaj yeh kar rahi hu toh aage jake unke hi kaam aayega. Mere liye yeh decision lena bohot important tha."
