PeepingMoon Exclusive: I enjoy the box; it's lovely to be loved and appreciated- Jubilee star Aditi Rao Hydari on being stereotyped as 'Queen of Period Dramas'

Aditi Rao Hydari is savouring the deliciously sweet fruits of hard work with the glorious success of her recently released web series, Jubilee. In the Vikramaditya Motwane-directed period drama, she plays Sumitra Kumari, a superstar of her era. Known as the 'Queen Of Period Dramas', Aditi is an epitome of beauty, grace and elegance. In an exclusive conversation with PeepingMoon.com, the actress reacted to being stereotyped.

Aditi told us, "I have worked for over a decade and I believe this is natural. If something is working, and people are accepting you in that zone, you will be put into that little box. It is up to us to figure out how to deal with that. I enjoy the box; it is lovely to be loved and appreciated. It is great to know people accept and love you for what you're doing. It is my lookout to break the box and know that when it is broken, another box will be created. I will savour that box too and then move on to the next."

She further added, "These boxes are not our creations, people made them. It's our work to enjoy the love we get. Then there's a hunger to do different things and that's when we break those boxes. That’s natural and happens to everybody."

After Jubilee, Aditi will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus show, Heeramandi
