Vijay Varma gave a pleasant surprise to the fashion police in 2022 with his incredible fashion transformation. Experimenting with a variety of interesting and sharp looks, the actor impressed the toughest of critics with his sartorial choices. Diet Sabya, you surely know what's the page all about, also gave a thumbs up to Vijay for his recent looks. Now, in an exclusive conversation with PeepingMoon, the Darlings actor opened up about being inclined toward fashion and what brought across the major change in his stylefile.
Talking to PeepingMoon for its special segment, Meet The Screen Stealers, Vijay told, "I was always interested in fashion but for a few years I lost interest in it because I was obsessed with movies and learning acting. Also, I didn't have money for years. In college, I would buy jeans, T-shirt and some accessory every third week."
He further added, "Around Gully Boy time, I started having fun. When Darlings was coming out, I was very scared because I thought people would hate me so I wanted to put myself out there nicely. It was a conscious choice to be seen in a manner that people can actually see me and not the person in the film. It started as a defense mechanism as I wanted to be loved."
Talking about being featured on Diet Sabya and receiving praise, Vijay quipped, "This is new to me and it happens too frequently. There's an inside joke in my friend circle that I am Diet Sabya! He or she doesn't say good things about people but I managed to earn some credit there."
