Katrina walks out of Remo D’Souza’s old ‘ABCD 3’ and Shraddha dances in!

Katrina Kaif, whose two 2018 releases Thugs of Hindostan and Zero failed miserably at the box office, now only has Salman Khan’s Bharat to look forward to in 2019. That’s because the actress has walked out of Remo D’Souza’s proposed 3D dance film that was tentatively titled ABCD 3. And the Bollywood actress who has reportedly stepped into her shoes is said to be Shraddha Kapoor who was really the film’s original choice.

The male lead of the film remains Varun Dhawan. Also, the title of the film is now likely to be Street Dancer. The reason why Katrina walked out of Remo’s project is reportedly because she had given bulk dates to Bharat which Salman is keen on releasing for Eid 2019. The makers of Street Dancer are believed to have wanted the same dates for their film that Katrina had blocked for Bharat and had planned to begin the first schedule of the dance film in January and then move to London.

Street Dancer got delayed because Remo took time after his earlier film, Salman’s Race 3, failed at the box office in June. The choreographer was determined to have Katrina in his film because the actress is synonymous with some of Bollywood’s biggest and most popular dance numbers. But the delayed start in Street Dancer is reported to have distressed Katrina. And despite teasers of the film being shared by Varun on social media, she had no hesitation in backing out of Remo’s film. At that time, it was expected that the film would be released on November 8, 2019. Katrina herself was said to be “super excited” to be a part of “India’s ultimate dance film”.
