PeepingMoon Exclusive: When it comes to actually taking a stand, she is not there: Malvi Malhotra calls out Kangana Ranaut for disappearing after promising help

Malvi Malhotra faced a traumatic incident last year as she was hospitalised after a producer stabbed her thrice for rejecting his proposal. While she was fighting for her life in the hospital, she wanted to reach out to someone influential who could help her and many other women who go through this sort of violence. The actress then made a video and sent it to Kangana Ranaut. However, even after promising help, Kangana did not reach out to Malvi and offered absolutely no help.

Talking about the incident with PeepingMoon.com exclusively, Malvi said, "I feel how Kangana (Ranaut) is showcasing her image in front the industry is not right. She is vocal about everything and talks about every issue but when it comes to actually taking a stand, she is not there. My motive is to say that why is she saying things that she cannot do. Or is she just saying all this for publicity or she has to maintain her Y-security or just because she wants to be in news? This is not the right approach."

She added, "I am also from Himanchal just like her and people from there are known for their innocence. But the way she is portraying the image of Himanchal in Bombay is not good. So it is coming as our insult. The way she spoke to Uddhav Thackeray Ji, he is the CM and she is just naming those people. So she talks like that to elders at her home also, which is wrong. In my case, she said a lot of things but never approached me whereas Urmila Ji (Matondkar) never said anything but she helped me silently. She called a lot of people to take care of the case and because of her special attention has been given to my case."

On the work front, it took Malvi four months to return in front of the camera, and right now she is focused to work. Known for her role of Pooja in the TV series Udaan, Malvi will soon make her digital debut with the OTT show Geisha.
