The decks are being cleared at Karan Johar’s Pali Hill residence for the first birthday party of his twins, Roohi and Yash,tomorrow. “They are too small to have a party anywhere outside,” the proud Papa told PeepingMoon.com, “So I decided to celebrate it at home for them.”
And so, the 11th floor of KJo’s three-storey apartment in the high-rise is being converted into a massive play area for the handpicked guests. They will sing, dance and romp around without inhibition between 4 and 6.30 pm tomorrow while the Dharma Productions’ babies excitedly slip into their second year.

“It will be a small tea-party for the kids of close friends,” said Karan. “All of them are more or less the ages of Roohi and Yash.” Top of the starry guest list is Bollywood’s most in-demand party animal Taimur Ali Khan, the cherubic baby boy of KJo’s BFF Kareena Kapoor Khan. Then there will be Aditya Chopra’s and Rani Mukerji’s camera-shy daughter Adira at whose second birthday party recently Taimur ganged up with Roohi and Yash to break the internet with their first group pictures.
Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s photogenic son AbRam will also be there rampaging all over with his boundless energy. As will be Salman Khan’s nephew Ahil (sister Arpita’s son) and Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s fast-growing daughter Aaradhya.
Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s pouty daughter Misha, another internet sensation, will bring her angelic sex appeal to this Baby Bash. And joining her in cosy selfies will be Soha Ali Khan’s and Kunal Kemmu’s cute daughter Inaaya. Tusshar Kapoor’s son Lakkshya and KJo’s cousin Priyanka’s daughter Vedika will complete the list of young revelers.
Karan has not had special birthday invitation cards made because the guest list is so small. Instead, he sent personal notes to the parents of all the young guests he would like to have at the first birthday celebration of his babies. Naturally, Taimur, AbRam & Co. are not expected to roll up to KJo’s Pali Hill home in their parents’ limousines unaccompanied. So, Roohi and Yash can expect Bollywood’s yummy mummies Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rani Mukherji, Gauri Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mira Kapoor, and Soha Ali Khan to gatecrash their exclusive do.
Tusshar Kapoor will be the only male parent at this party. Apart from KJo himself, of course. Not that the delighted host anticipates the lack of men at his kids’ first birthday merrymaking. “Shah Rukh Khan might also come with Gauri,” Karan told
PeepingMoon.com. “And Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra, perhaps.” Anybody else from the fraternity likely to drop in uninvited? “Oh, Alia Bhatt will be there,” he said. “But she is here almost every other day. She’s part of the family.”
