The Bandra police, which is investigating the shocking suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has seized the actor’s smartphone and is checking his call data records to see who the actor was in touch with last.

The police want to know who the actor, who was found hanging at 8.34 o’clock this morning, had spoken to last and are scrolling through his Whatsapp messages to see if any light on his suicide might come out of them.

Meanwhile, even as a flurry of condolences make social media news, the body of Sushant Singh Rajput has been taken for postmortem. It will be tested for Covid-19 first. It is likely the body will be taken to Patna for the final rites.
