Exclusive: Randeep Hooda roped in to play the baddie in Salman Khan's 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai'

There’s no end to the buzz around Salman Khan’s Eid 2020 film that he promised his diehard fans would come in place of the scuttled love story Inshallah that he was to make with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia Bhatt. PeepingMoon.com had exclusively told you Bollywood’s Bhai was planning an action film titled Radhe that would be helmed by his old friend from the South and Wanted director Prabhu Dheva. Salman’s brother Sohail Khan had even registered the title RadheYours Most Wanted Bhai with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association (IMPPA).

It is believed to be an adaptation of the 2017 Korean film The Outlaws about a cop assigned to finish underworld clashes in a city. Prabhu Dheva will direct RadheYours Most Wanted Bhai and the film will be hurriedly made to catch Salman’s lucky Eid release date in 2020. Meanwhile, there is also talk that Sohail registered the title India-Pak in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Bhojpuri.

PeepingMoon.com has further come to know that Randeep Hooda, who expressed reluctance in playing the negative role in Salman’s 2014 action comedy Kick that ultimately went to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, will play the baddie this time in the Bhaijaan’s Eid 2020 release. In Kick, Randeep had gone on to play a suave and dashing cop who was hot on the heels of Salman’s Robin Hood character Devil. He further acted as the mixed martial arts coach in Salman’s 2016 sports drama Sultan.

Randeep is believed to have turned down grey roles also in Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2 and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Baaghi 2. Now he was reportedly convinced after reading the script that his negative role in Salman’s 2020 Eid release had plenty of depth and was happy to accept the film. This will be an out and out negative role. Randeep signed Radhe: Yours Most Wanted Bhai this week. The actor and his PR person were unavailable for comment.
