Famous Malayalam actor Vinayakan is once again in controversy. He was detained by the police on Thursday, May 8, for creating a ruckus in a hotel in Kollam district of Kerala under the influence of alcohol. However, he was later released on bail from the police station.
According to the information, Vinayakan was staying in a hotel in Anchalumoodu area of Kollam since May 2, where he stayed in connection with the shooting of a film going on nearby. On May 8, while he was checking out from the hotel, he misbehaved with the hotel staff in an inebriated state and started shouting loudly. The hotel authorities immediately informed the police, following which he was taken for a medical check-up and then taken to the Anchalmudu police station.
According to the police, a case was registered against the actor for being found drunk in a public place. The police also said that Vinayakan was not only shouting at the hotel staff but was also arguing and misbehaving with the police officers. Even inside the police station, his behaviour was quite aggressive.
However, the actor was later released from the police station after one of his friends stood surety. This is not the first time that Vinayakan has been in the news for such behaviour. Earlier too, he has been in controversy several times for creating a ruckus in a drunken state. After this incident, the actor has also started getting criticism on social media and questions are being raised about his professional conduct.
