The release date of the much anticipated Laapataa Ladies has finally been announced. Starring Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in lead roles, the film is all set to make one delve into an exciting journey filled with comedy and unexpected twists.
Another highlight of the project is that it brings back the collaboration of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. Directed by Kiran and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the film will also mark Kiran’s directorial comeback after over a decade post Dhobi Ghat.
Laapataa Ladies will also be screened at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8 , ahead of its release.
Set in 2001, in rural parts of India, Laapataa Ladies follows the jolly mess that ensues when two young brides get lost from a train.
