Nick Jonas celebrated his 1st Father's Day on Sunday. The American pop singer welcomed a baby girl with his wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas in January via surrogacy. Making the occasion special, Nick twinned with his daughter Malti Marie or MM by wearing identical sneakers. The little one wore a pair of white sneakers with her initials on each shoe. Nick wore white sneakers with 'MM's' written on one shoe and 'Dad' on the other.
The adorable picture was shared by Priyanka on her Instagram account. The caption read, "Happy 1st Father’s Day my love. To watch you with our little girl is my greatest joy..what an amazing day to come back home… I love you.. here’s to many more (sic)" In the picture, Malti Marie can be seen dressed in a red frock.
After her premature birth, Malti Marie was in the NICU for over 100 days. Talking about it, Nick said in a previous interview, "I think that what we shared on social media was just kinda the feeling that we had, the gratitude obviously to have our baby home. But also for each and every person that was part of her journey while in the hospital. It’s eye-opening in a lot of ways. And I think it was really important for us to just share that. And make sure that people know that whatever their journey is, whether it’s something like we went through or diabetes or whatever challenges might come up, you’re not alone. And grateful to have a teammate in Pri who was a rock the whole time and continues to be."
Priyanka and Nick are yet to reveal their daughter's face.
