'We have been being painted as some kind of big monsters', said a teary-eyed Shah Rukh Khan after son Aryan Khan's arrest: NCB official reveals

Big relief came in for Aryan Khan as the son of actor Shah Rukh Khan & Gauri Khan was given a clean chit in the drugs-on-cruise case in May-end. Aryan was not a part of any larger drugs conspiracy or an international drugs trafficking syndicate. No drugs were found on Aryan, and neither was he in contact with any dealer. The allegations put against the star kid by NCB at the time of his arrest are not in the charge sheet. Preliminary, it seems everything is fabricated.

While the Khans kept mum about the entire situation, recently, an official of the NCB revealed what a distressed Shah Rukh told him during the course of the investigation. Speaking with a leading portal, NCB deputy director Sanjay Singh revealed Shah Rukh met him and raised concerns about Aryan’s physical and mental well-being when he was in custody. He requested to be allowed to meet Aryan and keep him company through the night but wasn’t allowed to do so. Sanjay Singh said that Shah Rukh alleged his son was being ‘vilified’ without evidence. Sanjay said that in one of their conversations, a teary-eyed Shah Rukh told Sanjay, “We have been painted as some kind of big criminals or monsters who are out to destroy society and we find going to work tough every day.”

For the unversed, Aryan was arrested by the anti-drugs agency on October 3 following a raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. On October 28 -- three weeks after the arrest -- he was granted bail by the Bombay High Court, which found multiple holes in the agency's case against him.
