Aayush Sharma refutes rumours of his grandfather veteran politician Pandit Sukh Ram passing away, says ‘refrain the media from paying heed to any false news’

Aayush Sharma took to social media to dismiss rumours and fake news of his grandfather veteran politician Pandit Sukh Ram passing away at the age of 95 years in Delhi. Taking to Instagram, Aayush requested fans to pray for his grandfather’s well-being and ‘refrain the media from paying heed to any false news’. He further said that he and his family will keep the public informed about the veteran leader’s health.

Aayush wrote, “My grandfather Pandit Sukh Ram is a strong soul and fighting back bravely. To all the reports and rumours, in this testing time for our entire family, I kindly request everyone to pray for his well-being and refrain the media from paying heed to any false news. A media report had claimed that Pandit Sukh Ram had passed away in Delhi at the age of 95 years after suffering a brain stroke. Aayush's grandfather was the first man who made the first mobile phone call in India. He called the then Chief Minister of West Bengal, Jyoti Basu on July 31, 1995 as India’s Union Telecom Minister.
