Sikandar Kher has given the health update of his mother, veteran actress and politician Kirron Kher. The actress was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in April this year. Her husband Anupam Kher had shared the news on social media. Kirron is currently undergoing treatment and recovering at her home. Now, in a recent interaction with an online portal, Sikandar has spoken about her fight against the disease and shared her current health status.
Calling his mom a fighter, Sikandar said, “I was in Indonesia shooting for The Monkey Man when we got to know about it. When you hear something like this about your family, it’s tough for everybody. But my mother is a fighter. She has always been one. I was telling someone that when she has brought up a big animal like me all alone without any help, then what is this little thing?”
He further said that Kirron has been receiving good wishes and blessings from family members and friends and said, “She gets so much love from people and they send her so much positivity. She’s a fighter and her treatment is on. She’s responding well and that’s the most one can hope for in a situation like this."
