Trinamool Congress MP and popular Bengali actress Nusrat Jahan has been discharged from the Bhagirathi Neotia Hospital in Kolkata, just a few days after delivering a baby boy. The actor-turned-politician gave birth to a son on August 26 and got discharged from the private hospital in south Kolkata on August 30.
Yash Dasgupta, her rumoured boyfriend and actor-politician, was seen carrying the newborn to the car in the videos that appeared online. The report also revealed that the newborn baby and mother were discharged only after they completed multiple tests. It also stated that Nusrat did not allow her newborn to be kept in the nursery but kept him by her side.

Nusrat gave birth to her son on Wednesday. At the time, Yash shared an update with fans and well-wishers. “For those who have been enquiring about Nusrat’s health, the mother and child are healthy and doing well,” he said.
