Sidharth Shukla, who has been the talk of the town ever since his stint in Bigg Boss 13, was recently rumoured to be playing a big part in director Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush. The film that stars Prabhas as Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Kriti Sanon as Sita and Sunny Singh as Lakshman was said to have Sidharth as Meghnad. According to reports, Sidharth was said to be roped in to play the role of Meghnad aka Raavan and Mandodari's son.
However, the actor has now responded to the reports and refuted them. When Sidharth was asked about being approached by the makers of Adipurush for the role of Meghnad in the film, he told a leading magazine, “Honestly, it hasn’t come to me yet. So, I really don’t know if there is any truth to it or not. For me, I really don’t know because nothing has come to me.”
Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair. The film will release in 3D on August 11, 2022.
On the work front, Sidharth Shukla is gearing up for the release of his first-ever web show Broken But Beautiful Season 3. The third season features Sidharth as a writer-director named Agastya Rao and newcomer Sonia Rathee as Rumi. Broken But Beautiful 3 will stream on ALTBalaji from today (May 29).
