Salma Agha's daughter Zara Khan registers a case after receiving rape threats on Instagram

Daughter of Pakistani-born British actor Salma Agha, Zara Khan, has reportedly filed a case at Oshiwara police after receiving rape threats on her Instagram account. According to a leading daily's report, Zara has mentioned in the complaint that between October 28 and November 3, she got multiple messages on her Instagram from an unknown person. 

According to Oshiwara police, the accused is a 23-year-old female MBA student from Hyderabad. Dayanand Bangar, Senior Inspector Oshiwara police, told the daily, "After actor Zara Khan approached us, we informed the cyber department and took help from the Instagram team and traced the accused on the basis of the local IP address." Shedding light on the accuses, Inspector Bangar further added, "She told the investigating officer that Khan and her co-workers were working with a political party and targetting her. During probe, we learnt that she is mentally unstable. We have sent the accused a notice [41(A) CRPC (Notice of appearance before police officer]." He added that police are yet to learn about the motive behind the threatening messages. Reportedly, a case has been registered against the accused under sections 354 (a), 354(b), 509, 506 and Information Technology Act 67(a) of Indian Penal Code.

Zara is an actress and singer who has done films like Aurangzeb and Desi Kattey.
