There has been a lot of speculation about Aditya Chopra planning to make a biopic on his late father, the legendary Yash Chopra. Now, we can officially tell you that this news is absolutely untrue and a figment of imagination.
It all started when a few media reports suggested that Aditya is planning to make a biopic on his father after YRF marked 50 years. With no confirmation on the same, a news website even hinted at Shah Rukh Khan playing the role of Yash Chopra in the film. However, YRF has now given its clarification and termed it as a 'baseless rumour'. YRF’s official spokesperson said, “This is a baseless rumour. There are absolutely no plans to make a biopic on Yash Chopra ji.”
On September 27, Yash ji's 88th birth anniversary was celebrated. With that, Yash Raj Films completed 5 decades since inception. Making the occasion memorable, Aditya, the head honcho of YRF, had also unveiled a new logo.
