Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter have teamed up for the first time for Ali Abbas Zafar's action-thriller Khaali Peeli. While rumour has it that the film will directly premiere on OTT, the makers, however, haven't announced the date but unveiled the teaser on social media today. The teaser takes us onto the streets of Mumbai in Ananya and Ishaan's 'kaali peeli' that is the iconic Bambaiyya black and yellow taxi.
The teaser introduces us to ek ladka (Ishaan) who is accused of half-murder and is released from the jail. Soon, he lands into trouble once again when an unassumed passenger (Ananya), aka 'Item', walks into his life. As the cops are on a mission to hunt them, Ishaan and Ananya are on the run. Ishaan, in Khaali Peeli, flaunts his rugged look well. His Bambaiyaa accent adds to the overall flavour of the film. Ananya looks gorgeous but you never know what is hidden behind her innocent face in the thriller. She is all set to surprise you with some dangerous stunts.

Khaali Peeli is directed by Maqbool Khan and produced by Ali with Zee Studios and Himanshu Mehra. The film features Jaideep Ahlawat as the baddie.
