Legends don't die: Sajid Khan fondly remembers his brother Wajid Khan as he shares a heartbreaking video from the hospital

During the wee hours of June 1, Wajid Khan of Sajid-Wajid fame passed away in Mumbai at the age of 42. The ace music composer and singer was hospitalised two months ago for a kidney and heart ailment. Days before his death, he was tested positive for Coronavirus but breathed his last after a cardiac arrest. Three days after his untimely demise, as his family is gathering the courage to cope up with the loss, Wajid's brother Sajid Khan shared a heartbreaking video on social media. The video, shot at the hospital, features Wajid playing music with the help of an app on his smartphone. Remembering Wajid fondly, Sajid said he was a legend and legends don't die. 

"Duniya chhut gayi, sab kuch chhuta , na tune kabhi music chodda,na music tujhe kabhi chodega. My brother is a legend and legends don’t die. I will always love you. Mere Khushi mein,meri duaaon mein, mere naam mein tu hamesha rahega," Sajid wrote while sharing the video on Instagram.

Wajid, in his 20-year career, gave chartbuster music by collaborating with Salman Khan for the Dabangg series, Ek Tha Tiger, Wanted and many others. His last work was Salman's single Bhai Bhai which released on the occasion of Eid this year. 

Wajid was laid to rest at the Versova Kabrastan beside acclaimed Hollywood and Bollywood actor Irrfan's grave. The funeral was attended by family members and industry friends like Aditya Pancholi and Aalim Hakim. Salman, who shared a close bonding with the family, couldn't make it as he was at his Panvel farmhouse.
