Sonu Sood has literally captured the imagination of the nation with his exemplary and timely help towards the migrant workers stranded in different parts of the country amid the lockdown. The actor has gone beyond his scope of work by arranging buses for migrant workers to get home. He even airlifted 177 Odia girls from Ernakulum, Kerala who were stuck in the state due to the nationwide lockdown. His work has brought him immense praise from people, netizens, celebrities and even political leaders.
Sonu had recently revealed that he was moved by the plight of the migrants as he himself was one once upon a time. He retweeted on his Twitter account his Mumbai local train pass from the year 1997 and wrote, “Life is a full circle.” The picture has swiftly gone viral as it was shared by a Twitter user who wrote, “The one who has really struggled, understands the suffering of other people Sonu Sood Used to travel with the local pass of 420.”
