It is known to all that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor's and Alia Bhatt's mythological fantasy Brahmastra. It was being touted that Shah Rukh's role will hold special importance to Ranbir's character named Shiva and his journey, which will be the crux of the entire film.
Now according to a report in a leading daily, Shah Rukh will be seen playing a scientist in Ayan Mukerji's superhero drama. "Shah Rukh's character is one of the key highlights of the film and comes at a crucial point in the narrative. The film is a mix of fantasy and mythology, and it will be interesting to see how his scientist character helps Ranbir's Shiva in his quest," reveals a source. Apparently, Khan, who has already shot for his portion, sports a distinct look in the December release. "He will be seen flaunting a salt-and-pepper look, and a beard," the daily quoted a source as saying.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh or Dharma Productions are yet to respond to the report.
Brahmastra, apart from Ranbir and Alia, features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagararjun and Dimple Kapadia in important roles. The film was earlier stated to release in December this year, but owing to post-production VFX work, it got pushed to Summer 2020.
