With tikka on his forehead, Varun Dhawan visits Natasha Dalal's house with his entire family; quashes 'roka' rumours later

The story doing the rounds that Varun Dhawan was postponing his impending marriage to childhood sweetheart and designer Natasha Dalal is not true at all. It is happening this May in Thailand. PeepingMoon.com had exclusively confirmed on February 8 that Varun has romantically planned a beautiful outdoor sunset wedding ceremony at the luxurious JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa that’s an hour from Phuket. A deposit has been paid and the wedding planner is reportedly at work.

Now, to sort of confirm the news Varun along with his entire family was snapped at Natasha's house on Wednesday night for her father's birthday celebration. The actor, his father David Dhawan, mom Lali Dhawan, brother Rohit Dhawan, uncle Anil Dhawan and more were clicked while leaving the venue. A report stated that the couple completed a pre-marriage ritual during the get-together, probably Roka. From Varun's pictures, it looked like he was sporting a teeka which added fuel to the fire of Roka ceremony speculations.

Not only this but Varun's mentor Karan Johar was also present and was sporting a traditional look. He was accompanied by BFF Manish Malhotra.

Varun's family members were also all decked up in ethnic wear.

But soon after Varun cleared the air as he took to Twitter to clarify that it was not a roka ceremony. The families met for a birthday party. He wrote, "Hey guys before u let ur imagination run wild it was a birthday party. Wanted to clarify before any false news is spread. Cheers (sic)."

Talking about his ladylove Natasha, Varun had earlier stated, "She and I went to school together. So, she knows my parents since ages. She’s been attending functions with my parents before also but it wasn’t photographed then. She’s my rock, she’s my anchor. She’s the stabilizing factor in my life. It’s pretty much like family.”
