Confirmed! Dinesh Vijan collaborates with Raj & DK for the sequel of 'Goa Goa Gone', film to release in March 2021

Dinesh Vijan's and Raj-DK's Saif Ali Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Kemmu starrer Go Goa Gone delved into a new territory of zom-com in 2013. The film wasn't just a massive hit but also became a favourite with the audience and critics alike. Now, after much wait, the makers have finally greenlit its sequel. Well, yes. While the buzz was strong that Go Goa Gone 2 is in the making, it was finally announced on Wednesday. Talking about the collaboration, Dinesh, who will be bankrolling the film under his banner- Maddock Films told the team is excited to get onto the crazy ride. He informed that the final draft is in process and the film will go on floors by September 2020.

"It’s been quite a journey from 2013, and I’m so excited we’re back again with this crazy ride. Go Goa Gone redefined many things, and we are gunning to do that again. The characters have stayed with us all this while and we are thrilled to bring them back to life! Sunil and I have had a great partnership and  I’m excited to be back together especially for this film. We are finishing the final draft and we should roll by September 2020,” Dinesh told.

Adding further, Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd, which is producing Go Goa Gone 2 with Maddock, said he is excited to collaborate with Dinesh for a film that has an immense recall value and a special project. “Go Goa Gone was a very special film, and one that has immense recall. It’s attained a cult status thus making it great for a franchise. It’s been a long time since Dinesh and me have worked and I’m excited to be collaborating with him once again,” Sunil added.

Go Goa Gone 2 is said to release in March 2021. The cast is yet to be confirmed.
