Nawazuddin Siddiqui's younger sister Syama Tamshi Siddiqui passes away after an eight-year-long battle with cancer

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's younger sister Syama Tamshi Siddiqui breathed her last on Saturday at the age of 26. As per reports, she passed away at a hospital in Pune after battling cancer for eight years. Syama was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of eighteen.

According to reports of a daily publication, the news of Syama's untimely death was confirmed by her brother Ayazuddin Siddiqui. The family informed a media agency that Nawazuddin, at the time of her death, was in the US for the shoot of No Land's Man. As per reports, the actor will be back for the funeral which will be held today at their ancestral place that is Budhana in Uttar Pradesh.

Nawazuddin, back in October 2018, on Syama's 25th birthday, informed his followers about her breast cancer. "My sister ws diagnosed of advanced stage @ 18 bt it ws her will power & courage dat made her stand agnst all d odds she turns 25 2day & still fighting M thankful 2 Dr.@koppiker & @Lalehbusheri13 fr motivating her & m rly grateful 2 @resulp Sir fr introducng me 2 dem," Nawazuddin wrote while sharing a picture with Syama.
