Definitely there is an idea to convert this into a franchise: Siddharth Anand on making a sequel of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer 'War'

After breaking records and getting the biggest opening in the history of Hindi cinema, it looks like War is all set for its part 2. Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War created history on day 1 of its release. The biggest action entertainer of Bollywood lived up to its massive pre-release hype as it collected 53.35 crore net all India (Hindi: Rs 51.60 crore and Tamil + Telugu - Rs 1.75 crore). For this big achievement, the makers of War hosted an event for media this afternoon. In appearance at the event were Tiger, Hrithik, Vaani Kapoor and director Siddharth Anand.

At the event, Siddharth was asked if he is in talks with the team for a part 2 of War. To this, the filmmaker said, "It's too early. But definitely the idea is to convert War into a franchise, provided we get the love of the audience. I think it's the audience's demand more than our desire. So, we will sit together someday and discuss this."
