Meera Chopra as sexual assault victim Anjali Dangle puts forth a brave face in a battle to get justice in the first look poster from 'Section 375'

The makers of the upcoming courtroom drama titled Section 375 have been keeping the audience intrigued with interesting character posters and a spectacular trailer. After introducing the lead actors of the film- Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha, the team released the poster of yet another pivotal character on Monday. The poster belongs to Meera Chopra aka Anjali Dangle from the film. She is a rape victim who takes it upon herself to battle against the wrongdoers in the society. Anjali is a junior costume assistant who was allegedly forced by a film director.  

In the poster, we can Meera's aka Anjali's eyes dampened with the spirit of assuring the right punishment for the criminals. The poster gives a glimpse into her tale as a dialogue stating 'maine bohot mana kiya, bohot resist kiya,' indicates her struggle to save herself from the incident.

In the film, Akshaye stars as Tarun Saluja, a criminal lawyer while Richa is Hiral Gandhi, a public prosecutor. The former is a defense lawyer to a film director, played by Rahul Bhatt while the latter fights on behalf of Meera's Anjali. Section 375 is directed by Ajay Bahl and is a Panorama Studios production and presented by T-Series. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, Co-produced by Aditya Choksi and Sanjeev Joshi, will hit theatres on September 13, 2019.
