Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan to reunite on-screen for the Hindi remake ‘Vikram Veda’?

After the debacle of Thugs of Hindostan last year, Aamir Khan took a long time to announce his next film. However, now the actor is gearing up for his next project Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. But besides, Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir reportedly will be seen in another interesting project that will move parallel to this one. According to an entertainment website, Aamir has given his nod to the Hindi remake of Tamil film Vikram Vedha which is titled Vikram Veda.

According to the portal, the film will also stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead role. While Saif will play the good cop, Aamir is set to portray negative shades in the film. Vikram Veda will be directed by Gayatri Pushkar who also directed the Tamil version of the film. The project is set to go on floors in March 2020. While Aamir will play the role essayed by Vijay Sethupathi, Saif will step into the shoes of R Madhavan from the original film.

Vikram Veda will be produced by Neeraj Pandey and is currently in the pre-production stage. Saif and Aamir had previously worked in the cult and iconic film Dil Chahta Hai that released in 2001 and was the directorial debut of Farhan Akhtar. They have also shared screen space in Parampara that released in 1993.
