Sameera Reddy and her husband Akshai Varde became parents for the second time on July 12 as the couple welcomed a baby girl. Soon after the birth of her little one, Sameera shared the news on her Instagram account where she gave a glimpse of child. Now, the actress has finally shared a picture with her newborn where she can be seen cuddling her while she is fast asleep. While sharing the picture, Sameera penned a heartwarming note and said Akshai and she had been praying for a daughter and now, they are blessed with one. She also wrote that her daughter has played the role of a catalyst for celebrating motherhood.
"This little girl gave me the strength of wild horses. She wanted me to find myself again. She knew I was lost and she showed me the way. I found a voice in celebrating motherhood, wanting change on body perception and the best part was reaching out to people to just feel good about themselves. Sameer broke out the news of the arrival of her angel with an adorable Instagram post. "Our little angel came this morning My Baby girl! Thank you for all the love and blessings," Sameera captioned.
During her pregnancy, the actress was quite active on social media platforms. From flaunting her baby bump underwater to starting her online campaign Imperfectly Perfect, she set goals for women and encouraged them to embrace their body during pregnancy. Sameera, whose last big-screen outing was in 2012 with the film Tezz, married businessman Akshai in 2014. She delivered Hans in 2015. She has featured in films such as Race, Taxi No 9211, Maine Dil Tujhko Diya and De Dana Dan among others.
