'If our talks materialise into something, you’ll hear about it': Salman Khan on rumours of him collaborating with Rohit Shetty

Salman Khan, who will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat co-starring Katrina Kaif, has an eclectic lineup of films ahead. The actor has Dabangg 3 in the making, slated to hit the theatres on December 20, 2019, apart from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah alongside Alia Bhatt, which is his Eid 2020 release. However, despite such a busy schedule, his fans keep wondering about his upcoming projects. When Salman was asked about it, he told a leading daily, "I’ve come across some very interesting scripts. I may do one of those before I start Tiger 3."

For those caught unaware, Salman confirmed at the Saudi Film Festival in March this year that he will star in the third instalment of the Tiger franchise and Katrina Kaif would be reprising her role of Zoya Singh Rathore.

Meanwhile, there have been rumours that Salman and Simmba director Rohit Shetty are looking to work together. When asked to comment on the ongoing speculations, Salman quipped that they are indeed in talks. “Why is it a rumour? Rohit and I have talked about working together. There is nothing definite yet. If our talks materialise into something, you’ll hear about it," he added. Incidentally, Salman's Inshallah and Rohit's Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina, would be clashing at the box office on Eid next year. Now if the two collaborate for a project, we wonder if either of them try to avert the impending box-office clash.

Although Salman and Rohit have never worked on a film together, the latter directed the actor for the commercials of Bigg Boss 8.
