Finally, the wait is over! Bollywood actor Irrfan, who was in London for a long time to undergo treatment for his Neuroendocrine tumour, is back to work and has started shooting for the sequel of 2017 hit Hindi Medium. Interestingly, the film is titled Angrezi Medium and has gone on floors in Udaipur. Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films shared a picture of himself along with Irrfan, director Homi Adajania and actor Deepak Dobriyal. He captioned the picture as, "What better start to this Friday than starting something that you all have been waiting for."

As for the female lead, several names were floating around but PeepingMoon.com had exclusively informed you that Kareena Kapoor Khan is going to be acting in the sequel of Hindi Medium and will only be seen in the second half of the film. Our sources informed that the actress will shoot her sequence during the film’s London schedule.
Interestingly, Irrfan will be returning to his much-loved character, which is that of Delhi businessman Raj Batra. Radhika Madan, who made her big screen debut with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Patakhaa last year, has come on board to play Irrfan’s teen daughter in the sequel. Reportedly, the sequel will see Irrfan's daughter going to the US for higher education and facing trouble fitting into a system where English is the primary spoken language.
