In what was supposed to be a memorable moment for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, probably turned out to be slightly awkward, at the Zee Cine Awards in Mumbai in March. Alia won the Viewers Choice (Actress) Award for her role in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi and after her name was announced, her boyfriend Ranbir, who was seated beside her, was absolutely overwhelmed.
As Alia smiled and turned to hug him, Ranbir was about to kiss her on her lips but she blushed and beamed, and planted a kiss on his cheek instead. Cute, right? But slightly awkward for sure. The entire moment has been filmed in a short video and is being circulated all across social media by fan clubs.

Ranbir and Alia, co-stars of their upcoming film Brahmastra, are dating since 2018. Rumours of Ranbir’s and Alia’s relationship surfaced in 2018 after both were spotted together quite often – at film screenings and events. In May last year, Ranbir confirmed his relationship with Alia while speaking to a leading magazine.
Alia, on the other hand, has been pretty much vocal about her relationship with Ranbir and told a leading magazine recently that he is a “gem”.
Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra is scheduled to release on Christmas.
