It’s been a week since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas became husband and wife at the grand Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The newlyweds married in two separate ceremonies honouring both their traditions and religions. They got married in a Christian wedding first followed by a Hindu wedding. Priyanka and Nick revealed a few pictures from their wedding which had lots of family and friends in attendance. Priyanka looked like a dream in a white wedding gown designed by renowned designer Ralph Lauren and a kanauj-red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi.
Since the time they have gotten married Nick and Priyanka have won hearts with their love and support for each other. Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra revealed recently that the couple made it a point to follow both Christian and Hindu customs to the T and “without shortcuts.” One of the highlights of the wedding was the sangeet ceremony that had the ‘ladkiwale’ and the ‘ladkewale’ battling it out on the dance floor. Priyanka also performed with her mother and one of the pictures that were revealed had the mother-daughter duo dancing. Now, Madhu has revealed the song that they danced to.

Madhu revealed that both she and Priyanka are classical dancers and hence they picked up the track Ram Chahe Leela from Goliyon Ki Raasleela-RamLeela. Madhu also opened up about her daughter’s marriage and said that there won’t be much change as they both are often traveling. However, she said that her daughter now has a “fine person” added to her life.
Madhu has previously said that she is very happy with her son-in-law who is a fine gentleman and very well brought up. She said that the newlyweds are much “sorted” couple and that they do not need any advice from anyone.
