Yesteryear actor Dilip Kumar's health is said to be critical. He has been complaining of breathlessness. It was learned that he has not eaten anything since the last two days. He even failed to recognize his wife Saira Banu. If rumours are to be believed, then his family members have already arrived at his house. Even the police security has been tightened up around his bungalow in Pali Hill.
If sources are to be believed, Dilip Kumar isn't responding to the medicines. He was even carried to the bathroom but on the contrary, Faisal Farooqui, Dilip Kumar's family friend who handles his official Twitter account denied a report by a leading daily that stated the news of Dilip Kumar's ill-health and said that the veteran actor is recovering well.

It was also learned that officials from Khar police station and doctors from Lilavati hospital have visited his home to see him.
In September 2018 too, he was taken to Lilavati hospital after he felt uneasy due to a chest infection. The 95-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital due to dehydration and fever in August 2017. He was under observation for a few days but he recovered later on. In the recent years, the actor has been admitted to the hospital several times, citing prolonged illness. In 2016, the actor even celebrated his birthday on December 11 in the hospital.
