Deepika Padukone’s tweets she’s ‘safe’ after fire breaks out in her building

The 32nd and 33rd floor of Beaumonde Towers building in Mumbai's Worli area caught fire on Wednesday afternoon. Incidentally, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone resides on the 26th floor of the same building apart from other big names from the industry.

Now with reports of firefighting currently underway, Deepika finally took to Twitter to reveal that she’s safe. “I am safe.Thank You everyone.Let us pray for our firefighters who are at site risking their lives…” she wrote.

At the time of the fire, Deepika was out for a brand shoot but reports have it, the actress' sister and her mother were present at the house.

As per BMC, Level II fire which had broken out in Worli's Prabhadevi, became level III fire later. Approx 90 -95 persons were rescued safely with no casualties. Six fire engines, five jumbo tankers and an ambulance were also sent to the spot.
