I wanted my kids to not think of me as a loser: Bobby Deol

Usually we don’t associate the word ‘comeback’ to male actors since they usually do not take a hiatus like their female counterparts who take a break when they get married or when they embrace motherhood. However, this time around Bobby Deol is making a comeback with Salman Khan’s Race 3. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. Bobby recently opened about his struggle and how Salman helped him to get back to work. He said that he did not want his kids to think of their father as a loser.

In a recent interview, Bobby shared some really emotional and personal stuff. Talking about how he wanted to see his kids to not think of him as a loser. He said, “I wanted them to see their father at his best. I wanted them to not look at me and say he is a loser. I want to be their inspiration as my father is to me. That’s most important thing for me and my wife who believes so much in me.” He even revealed how Salman had sought for help from Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt when his career wasn’t going right.

Bobby revealed, “Salman told me that when his career was not going in the desired direction, he sought the support of Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, so I said to him ‘Mamu, let me use your support.’ One day, he called and said, ‘Shirt utarega?’" Bobby has made his body for Race 3 and has a pivotal role in the film. We see him shirtless walking alongside Salman who has also bared his torso in the trailer.

Besides, Race 3 Bobby will also be doing solo hero film under Salman’s production banner. He will also be seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se where he will share screen space with his father Dharmendra and elder brother Sunny Deol. He has also signed Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 4 with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.
