“Iss race ka sikander main hoon,” drawls Salman and we are going weak-kneed with the Race 3 trailer

It is touted as the most ambitious and expensive Bollywood film of recent times. Figures aside, for fans, it’s only about Salman Khan and he does not disappoint in the trailer, oh no…

Dialogues to die for!
“Yeh race, zindagi ka race hai. Kissi ki jaan leke hi khatam hoga
…” With that loaded dialogue the much-awaited three-minute trailer of Salman Khan's Race 3 gets off to a high-octane start. What’s a Salman film without dialogues that bring in the whistles? This one has its fair share of them. “Parivaar ke liye agar kissi jaan bhi leni pare toh bhi hum peeche nahi hatenge,” is another one that will be lapped up. And then the one that’s already on its way to becoming a classic – “Jiss race se mujhe nikalne ki baat kar rahe hai, woh nahi jaante ki iss race ka sikander main hoon.” Bring it on, Bhai!

Three times better
The trailer of the film, the third in the Race series, proves that the entire look and feel of this thriller has been raised several notches. Centring around family rivalries and backstabbing, it has all the edge of the seat excitement combined with a plot that doesn’t need much concentration to keep up with. Just sit back and enjoy! With Midas man Salman doing what he does best, and director Remo D’Souza amping up the slick factor, there is no cause for worry.

Knockout Action
The action is everything you would imagine when director Remo D’Souza and Hollywood action co-ordinator Tom Struthers who had worked with Salman on Tiger Zinda Hai, come together. Salman jumping off the roof of a high-rise a la Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, snazzy stunts involving whizzing cars and whirring helicopters, and blasting bazookas… the film promises to have it all and then some.

Hey, good lookin’
Bringing up the rest of the cast, we are introduced to the ensemble actors. There’s Anil Kapoor looking every inch the ruthless business tycoon, who will go to any lengths to save his portfolio. Playing his children are Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. There’s Jacqueline Fernandez looking lethal and lovely, and also Bobby Deol, who appears to be Anil Kapoor's business rival. Bonus points for this stunning looking set of dudes who are ripped and rippled, and the girls who are dangerously curved in all the right places. Of course, that’s if you can tear your eyes off Salman Khan!
