Photo Play: Taimur, Akshay - Dudes who are stealing our hearts!

In the wink – sorry, blink! – of an eye, Priya Varrier has had to relinquish the spotlight to its fave occupant – Taimur Ali Khan, who else! The adorable tot is back to breaking the internet with a pic of his bringing out the usual awwws and ooohs. Taimur appears to be in his playroom, as we note charts displaying birds and numbers decorating the walls. The pic sees him sitting holding a photo frame featuring his darling daddy, Saif. He gazes intently at the picture, chubby fingers holding on to it tightly and little ponytail sticking out adorably like a spout. Yeah, just a cute child snapped in a cute moment… but the fact that it’s Tim, as his dad has nicknamed him, seems to make all the difference! Credits to the new hairdo, ahaan...

Recently his grandpa Randhir also showed his dissatisfaction at the attention the tot garners. “Every day I get up in the morning, and I see a picture of my grandson in the newspaper. The paparazzi is permanently stationed below the house. Now, everyone recognises his maid also! That’s because of the paparazzi.”

A new pic from the sets of Kesari shows Akshay Kumar surrounded by a trio of little children in Afghan style clothing. The faces of all four are wreathed in smiles. Akshay tweeted, “Innocent smiles galore on set today. Shooting with these lovely children playing Afghani kids in #Kesari based on the Battle Of Saragarhi, one of the bravest battles fought in India.”

Karan Johar, who is producing the film, also commented, “Such an exciting journey this film has been... am so excited and proud to be associated with #kesari.” Looking at his huge turban, reminds us that Akshay had earlier revealed it was the heaviest turban and beard he has ever had to sport. “I shaved my head to make my life a little easier. I’m known for hating wigs, prosthetics and so on, and Kesari is quite demanding.

It’s probably my favourite look, though it’s taxing to fight and sweat in this avatar. But I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

His smile kind of says it all.
