Singer Mika Singh has been arrested in Dubai after a Brazilian teenager filed a complaint against him for 'sending objectionable pictures to her'. The case has been lodged for sexual harassment. Mika is currently lodged in a jail in Abu Dhabi and the news of his arrests has been verified by Dubai authorities. Mika was in Dubai to attend the Masala Awards.
Mika’s friends and associates are trying to get a bail for the singer. Reportedly the victim is a 17-year-old Brazilian model who met the singer at a show, after which Mika started sending her lewd pictures and messages and evens asked her to come to his hotel. After this, the girl notified the Brazilian embassy and then proceeded to file a police complaint.

The victim shared a lot of messages and pictures to the police as evidence after which Mika was arrested. Reportedly, Dubai has very stringent laws against sexual harassment and in this scenario it looks a little difficult for the singer to procure bail.
Mika was arrested from Bur Dubai area. His colleagues from Bollywood tried to get him out on bail but the court sent him under judicial custody. He was picked up from his hotel room and reportedly was in an inebriated state and proceeded to misbehave with the authorities.
The teenaged victim has alleged that Mika wanted her to spend time with him and had promised to get her work in Bollywood. Apparently, Mika had got a top Bollywood star to talk to the girl but he wanted sexual favours in return for the role in Hindi films.
