Shalin Bhanot’s ex-wife and actress Dalljiet Kaur is all set to tie the knot for the second time. The actress will be getting married to UK-based businessman Nikhil Patel on March 18, 2023. The actress has kickstared her pre-wedding festivities with the mehendi ceremony and shared a few clicks from the function today. Her unique mehendi design will win hearts as it depicts Nikhil’s two daughters from his first marriage and Dalljiet’s son with Shalin.
Sharing the pictures, Dalljiet wrote, “And it begins. Emotional day for me and my family. Keep us in your prayers. All our emotions stunningly captured by @epicstories.in My life story captured in absolutely gorgeous mehendi by @mehendiiekta.”
She also took to Instagram to share haldi pictures with Nikhil. Dalljiet wrote, “To new beginnings, one step at a time. #haldiceremony #dalnik2 #onestepatatime #toforever.” In a series of pictures we also get a glimpse of Jaydon and one of Nikhil's daughters.
Dalljiet was last seen in Bigg Boss 13 and is all set to move to London with her nine-year-old son Jaydon post marriage. Sharing details about her wedding, Dalljiet had told an online portal in February, “The wedding is in March, and I am still figuring out a lot of things. I will move to Nairobi (Africa) for a couple of years, as Nikhil is placed there for work right now. We will eventually move back to London, where he was born and raised.”
The actress had revealed that what connected them was their love for children. They met for the first time in Dubai at a mutual friend’s party. She said, “I only spoke about my son, and he was talking about his two daughters, 13-year-old Aariyana and eight-year-old Aanika. He wore blue nail polish on his toes, and when I asked him about it, he replied, ‘I am a proud dad of two girls.’ Romance wasn’t in the air back then; it was just two single parents chatting. Love happened with time. It was our love for our children that connected us. While Anika lives with her mother in the US, Aariyana will live with us.”
