Sidharth Shukla's hip-hop rap to be released by family on birth anniversary

It has been an emotional phase for family members, friends, fans and loved ones of Sidharth Shukla who are yet to come to terms with his demise. Now, as his birth anniversary is inching closer, people are finding it difficult to believe that he is no longer present to charm them with his smile and personality. Paying an ode to Sidharth, his family members have decided to release his rap song on December 12.

According to a leading daily, Sidharth, a multitalented person, had recorded a rap as a test in the summers. The music was given by G Skillz, a Punjabi composer. Reportedly, Shehnaaz Gill's brother and Sidharth's good friend Shehbaaz Badesha wrote the lyrics. A source told the daily, "The number is an upbeat one, full of life. It is all about Sidharth’s journey. Shehnaaz has been working closely on the track and ensuring it is a perfect tribute. The song will be a solo, featuring Shukla’s voice. The music video will stick to being lyrical and not something extravagant."

G Skillz confirmed the news and said, "It is a hip-hop rap that bhai (Sidharth) has sung. It was going to be a large-scale, lavish video but the circumstances are such. We are now contemplating when to release it." Shehbaaz refused to comment on it.

Sidharth, 40, passed away on September 2 after a massive cardiac arrest. His good friend Shehnaaz released a tribute video titled Tu Yaheen Hai which was released on YouTube on October 29.
