On Sunday (July 12), television actor Parth Samthaan confirmed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Soon after his report arrived, the shoot of his ongoing show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 was stopped. The cast and crew of the Ekta Kapoor-produced daily soap were asked to get precautionary test done. After Shubhaavi Choksey, Pooja Banerjee, Aamna Sharif and Karan Patel, Erica Fernandes' report was out today.
Erica, who plays the role of Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, has tested negative for COVID-19. The actress informed her fans and well-wishers on Instagram. "Just received my reports and the result is negative. thank you guys for your prayers and concern," Erica wrote.
Erica, on Instagram yesterday, dismissed rumours of testing positive for the novel Coronavirus. The actress wrote, "It was brought to my notice that false claims to my test results have been doing the rounds on social media. Although we are all hoping that it turns out negative I have yet not received my results. My special request to online portals, PLEASE DO NOT spread false news before confirming. I will for sure let you know the end result when I learn about it."

Parth aka Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2's Anurag Basu is currently taking treatment for COVID-19 by self-quarantining himself at home. Through an Instagram post, he said he was mildly positive and requested all those who came in close contact with him in the past few days to get themselves tested.
