They are uncorroborated and hold no truth: Sony TV responds to rumours around Jennifer Winget's show 'Beyhadh 2' going off-air

Much to everyone's surprise, it was recently reported that Jennifer Winget-starrer Beyhadh 2 is all set to go off air as it has reportedly failed to garner good ratings. Amid the ongoing rumours,  Sony TV has released the statement, confirming that the show is not ending.

"The rumours around Beyhadh 2 going off air and moving to the OTT platform SonyLIV are uncorroborated and hold no truth. Beyhadh 2, like any other fiction offering by Sony Entertainment Television, is a finite story and will meet its logical culmination as planned on the channel," the statement read.

For the unversed, several media reports suggested that the show has failed to grab TRP’s and thus, the channel decided to pull the plug on the show on television but as the show has been performing well on other platform, the channel will continue to push the show digitally. Well, looks like the audience now has their answer. 

Launched in December, 2019, the second season of Beyhadh also features Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhry. The first part starred Jennifer and Khushal Tandon in the lead roles.
